Mykonos Offshore Regatta 2020 - 9
Starting from Royal Cape Yacht Club, Cape Town and finishing at Club Mykonos, Langebaan the Mykonos Offshore Regatta is considered the biggest offshore race in Africa in numbers. Close on 60 boats sailed in 2019 arriving well into the early hours of Saturday morning.
The regatta, set for Saturday, 21 and Sunday, 22 February consists of an 80-mile race which is broken up into three “races”, and a Bay race scheduled for the Saturday.
The 19-mile pursuit race is set within the Bay and islands of Langebaan and Saldahna. The Regatta is a long-time favourite of many sailors because it offers consistent winds, stunning scenery and just enough time on the water!
