Rally in the Valley 2016
If you're a woman who likes nothing better than riding around on a motorbike with the sun on your back, then Rally in the Valley is a not-to-be-missed event. The third annual women-only event makes its return to Robertson from the 26-28 February 2016.
If you're envisioning groups of hardcore biker chicks with bomber jackets and tattoos, think again! This all-inclusive event sees women from all walks of life riding their Harleys through the town of Robertson - from career women to stay-at-home moms and seasoned bikers.
The day's event includes a mass ride, rally activities and a live music performance by the famous PJ Powers. There will also be refreshment stalls offering a wide variety of food and drink for the hungry and thirsty as well as a craft store where you can purchase jewellery and motorbike memorabilia.
The 2015 event saw a mass ride through the town of Robertson to the rally's designated charity, Institute of the Blind before looping back to the campsite for numerous afternoon activities of tug-of-war, hula hooping and the mechanical bull riding. Motorbike enthusiasts enjoyed demo rides with Harley-Davidson Cape Town which saw them whizzing around on a top-notch bikes.
