RMB WineX 2018
RMB WineX, the undisputed festival of choice for the discerning wine consumer, celebrates the 'art of wine'. Now in its 18th year running, the show boasts the greatest selection of South Africa's top cellars under one roof together with an exciting array of newcomers, boutique producers and garagistes – all who have one thing in common, they are all passionate about fermented grapes.
RMB WineX is the wine happening of the year where winemakers delve expert knowledge to an attentive audience and Jozi wine lovers meet to socialise en masse over a glass of good wine. Additionally, visitors can get handy tips and learn the latest in winemaking trends. If you're not looking to sample fine wines, there are plenty of products that are available for purchasing - from glassware and gadgets, olives and oils, imported decanters, design cooler, artisan cheeses and storage systems.
This year the show is being held at the Sandton Convention Centre from 24 - 26 October 2017.
What makes the RMB WineX unique is the fact that the public participates in the Best-Wine-on-Show poll, voting for their favourite wines from a range of winemakers - both big, lesser known and boutique.
Past shows have featured some 847 of the country’s finest wines, including Elgin Vintners, Groot Constantia, Jordan Wine Estate, The House of Krone - Twee Jonge Gezellen and Vergelegen.
The show opens at 5pm until 9pm.
