Shova Lifestyle Origin Wine Festival 2015
The first ever Shova Lifestyle Origin Wine Festival is taking place in the acclaimed Vilakazi Street in the heart of Soweto from 26 – 28 November 2015.
Soweto wine lovers and fundi’s will be treated to a prestigious array of award-winning wine and wine producers. Visitors to the show will be able to taste their past favourite wines, discover new labels and then stock up on both excellent prices through the Shop@Show facility. Olive, olive products, wine accessories, luxury stemware and artisanal products will also be available for sampling and purchase at the show.
This unique township wine event is to be hosted at the Shova Lifestyle Origin events and exhibitions venue, a veritable theatre of African art located on the most popular street in Soweto. Vilikazi Street is famed because both Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu lived on it. It now houses struggle museums and memorials, some well-known restaurants that serve local cuisine to tourists, a community television station and a number of shops.
The Shova Lifestyle Origin Wine Festival will be open from 6pm daily.
