Start of Harvest Celebration 2016
Delheim Wine Estate is ringing in the start of the harvest season with their ever-popular 'Start of Harvest Celebration'. The event takes place from the 23-24 January 2016 in Stellenbosch, promising to be a 'wine-derful weekend' jam-packed with Winelands-styled entertainment.
Visitors are invited to the estate to experience real life at a working wine farm. Interested parties are encouraged to join in a wide range of activities - from traditional grape stomping and a best-dressed competition to relaxed, al fresco dining at the Harvest Table.
Guest will be treated like royalty right from the get-go, where they'll be welcomed at the door with a glass and a traditional 'mosbolletjie' treat. Wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts can sample harvests made on the day to get a taste of what's to come later on in the season.
Lunch will be an informal buffet picnic that will be served at the river's edge under the shade of towering trees. Spread out those blankets and eat to your heart's content.
