Stellenbosch Wine Festival 2018
The Stellenbosch Wine Festival presented by Pick n Pay will again take place at the picturesque Coetzenburg Sports Grounds from Friday, 23 February to Sunday to 25 February. Offering a Premium Wine Tasting Experience, the festival will, as always provide serious wine lovers the chance to get the best out of the three-day wine extravaganza.
With over 60 of the wine routes’ top wine farms represented, the Stellenbosch Wine Festival presented by Pick n Pay is undoubtedly one of the most popular and well-attended wine-tasting events in the country.
The Premium Wine Tasting Experience, which is limited to 500 guests per day, comprises seven cultivar-themed tables, along with the chance to meet the winemakers, a must for anyone who would like first-hand knowledge and understanding of the wine-making process. Included in the experience is a branded wine glass for tasting, a cashless card with 30 pre-loaded tastings and a complimentary charcuterie or oyster platter courtesy of Wild Peacock Deli.
The seven cultivar-themed tables include Méthode Cap Classique, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bordeaux Blends, Pinotage and other red blends such as Rhone and Cape blends.
Aramex, leading logistics and transport provider, will offer a complimentary wine delivery service for all wines purchased at the Festival – free to any address in South Africa – making this one of the most convenient ways to stock your wine cellar for the year!
The Stellenbosch Wine Festival presented by Pick n Pay has something for everyone, with live music and outdoor activities to entertain; tasty artisanal food at the aptly named Gourmet Lane, and the Momentum Health Kiddies Area that will ensure fun and games for your little ones.
The General Wine Tasting Experience offers the opportunity to taste and purchase from a selection of wines in the general tasting area. Tickets includes a branded wine glass for tastings and a cashless card with 20 pre-loaded tastings.

Children under 18 enter the festival free and will not receive a tasting glass or cashless card. Tickets are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Festival Times are Friday, 23 Feb 16:00 – 21:00, Saturday, 24 Feb 12:00 – 20:00 and Sunday, 25 Feb 12:00 – 18:00
