The Taste of Joburg 2015 - 7
Joburg’s most anticipated Restaurant Festival, Taste of Joburg, returns to Montecasino from 24-27 September 2015.
12 of Joburg’s top restaurants will present extra special entrée tasting menus, specially designed to reflect their philosophy and showcase seasonal and premium ingredients.
A wide range of boutique exhibitors, artisan producers, premium drink brands and award-winning wineries will be there to provide the country’s finest food and drink. Sample and shop in the laid back atmosphere of a boutique food market.
Patrons will also be able to watch professional chefs demonstrating live at the Pick n Pay Chef’s Theatre and learn how to create and pair fabulous canapés with fine wines with the Pick n Pay Wine and Canapé Experience.
With a host of new and exciting foodie attractions, there is sure to be something to whet the taste buds of even the most discerning Johannesburg foodies.
Standard entrance is R60 and includes a tasting glass. A Premium ticket for R160 includes a tasting glass and R100 worth of Scoins (Taste of Joburg sampling currency). For R750, visitors can book a private clubhouse to use as a base for the show and will receive a tasting glass, R150 worth of Scoins, use of a complimentary bar and a Taste of Joburg gift.
The festival is open from 6:30pm to 10:30 pm on Thursday and Friday, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday and 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday.
