The Delheim Jazz & Cheese Fondue Series
The Delheim Jazz & Cheese Fondue series plays an exciting new tune in the Stellenbosch Winelands this year thanks to the announcement of a collaboration with the Cape Town Music Academy NPC and Jazz in the Native Yards. All jazzed up, this renowned winter indulgence of cheesy delight, wine and live jazz performances will take place, each Sunday from 23 June to 25 August.
If you're a jazz nut, this is an event for you. The event again takes place in Delheim's cosy, downstairs wine tasting cellar – an intimate and snug venue that's as perfect as any mellow jazz club.
The bonus at the intimate lunchtime concerts is a symphony of cheese and wine from the celebrated Stellenbosch winery served alongside a musical programme of the Cape Town Music Academy NPC and Jazz in the Native Yards.
On the meal-side of the occasion, tickets give you access to a sizzling pot of melted Swiss cheese, along with bread and vegetables for dipping. Optional extras available to order include starters, meats, dessert and coffee, along with wines that will also be on sale by the glass or bottle.
This is a special opportunity to taste Delheim's Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 – a wine that is not only exclusively available from the estate, but which is also a perfect match when paired with cheese. All wrapped up, the occasion promises a splendid afternoon best enjoyed with a group of friends.
