Tuning the Vine 2015
Tuning the Vine #InnerCityWineRoute is a wine experience in the hub of the Mother City that introduces vino lovers to a fresh, new style of wine tasting.
Following its inaugural success last year, Tuning the Vine will be making its return to celebrate the love of wine in a unique way through wine-tuning. The event takes wine tastings out of the wine cellar and prestigious estates and onto the bustling streets of the Mother City, making wine tasting a fun and less formal activity. What's more you'll get to beat those mid-week blues with a fun-filled, boozy adventure.
Tuning the vine is an event catered to both the connoisseur and the wine newbie, offering up wine samplings as well as giving you the opportunity to brush up on your knowledge through a series of crash courses with passionate winemakers. If that's not enough, attendees can partake in wine challenges, sommelier guided tasting tours, enjoy live music and more.
Take to the streets on Wednesday 7 October, 11 November and 9 December to embark on a wine experience like no other. Turing the Vine will take you to 13 of the trendiest places in Cape Town - from Youngblood Art and Culture Gallery and Weinhaus & Biergarten to Signal Hill Winery and the reserve vault at the Taj.
Your ticket will grant you access to all 13 venues, a tasting glass, crash courses and cellar talks - take note that these work on a first come first serve basis so come early to avoid disappointment.
If you're looking to complement some gourmet food with wine, take advantage of sommelier-led food and wine pairing Taste Theatre experience at Tjing Tjing Torii.
