Cradock
Though it has seen better days with respect to its infrastructure, especially the roads, Cradock remains a town with an interesting history. It is probably most famous (in modern times) for the story of 'The Cradock Four'.
It is one of the Cape's chief centres of the wool industry.
We took an interest in Schreiner House where the author of The Story of an African Farm lived as a young girl. The house, which is located at 9 Cross Street and is a satellite of the National English Literary Museum, contains a modern set of exhibitions portraying the life of Olive Schreiner.
Cradock had a name change in 2022. It has officially been renamed Nxuba.

Colchester is a very small, friendly and safe area. Neat and clean. Next to the river, and you can hear the sea.

mmm---not what it was. The sunken Gardens have gone. As has the Long Hill drive and the rock gardens.But Queenstown has an interesting history
