Overview
Uvongo has a very scenic lagoon, with a Waterfall in the background. Swimming area is safe and protected. There is also a tidal pool and children’s pool available. Uvongo Beach is the most beautiful, sub-tropical beach with sunny blue skies and the warm South African Indian Ocean at your feet. Uvongo Beach is sheltered, shark-netted and has a Waterfall running into the lagoon. Uvongo Beach is definitely one of the most beautiful and sought after beaches on the KZN coast.
Flat sleeps 4 but can sleep 6 people, but own bedding will be needed for the 5th & 6th person, it's ideal for the whole family wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to instead spend days on sun drenched beaches or take lovely long walks amidst peaceful surrounding. Unit is baby safe.
The unit has one bedroom with en-suite, open plan twin single beds, and a double sleeper in the enclosed balcony for an additional 2 people (see Pictures) that transforms into the lounge area during the day. The rooms have built in cupboards. The on suite bathroom has a basin, toilet, bath with shower over it. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 3 plate stove and oven, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is a flat screen 32 inch television with DStv family package and DVD player.
The fully walled secure complex offers lockable garage 1 car and open bay parking for a second car or trailer in a gated complex with remote access. There is also a communal braai area. We regret there are no pets allowed.
This modern complex located in the heart of Uvongo, a quick walk to many amenities, with a mere 50 metres walk away from the fantastic Uvongo beach with tidal pool, lagoon and Waterfall. Approximately 1 km to famous Orange Rocks as well as fishing pier for the anglers.
Only 5 km drive from the famous waffle house in Margate.
The unit is a flat on the 1st floor.
Close by attractions include the Crocodile Farm. Come visit the cold-blooded, yet friendly creatures at South Broom; MacBanana Farm Stall: Comprehensive farm stall with fresh farm products like you have never seen before; Lake Eland Game Reserve:
Beautiful sights and wildlife located near the Oribi Gorge; Klipspringer: Trails, 4x4 adventure tracks and hiking trails! Located in Port Edward.
A holiday in Uvongo is ideal for the whole family, as there is always something to do, such as sun tanning, swimming, snorkelling, body boarding, surfing, jogging, canoeing, pleasure boating and beach fun. For the not so adventurous, you could have romantic strolls on the beach or beachcomb the rock pools for plant and sea life.
