Bali at Scenic Haven lodge formerly Willinga Lodge is a Bali themed lodge situated at the foot of the mountain in the secure village of Kosmos overlooking Hartbeespoort dam on a large property with secure off-road parking. All suites are built utilising the majestic views to the maximum with private entrances maintaining guest privacy. The newly renovated suites boast a mix of thatch and standard roofing containing a fridge, and coffee and tea making facilities and braais on the terraces of the suites.
A large outside Jacuzzi is located under the trees overlooking the dam and is available to all guests. A salt-water rock-pool, with stunning views of the mountains, and a thatched lapa overlooking the dam is located next to one of the braai areas. In one part of the garden, to relax our guests, is a Waterfall with koi pond. The tropical garden has a collection of more than 20 varieties of hibiscus. Because of this you can observe the sun birds feeding on the flowers; there is a great variety of bird life. All suites offer a sitting area, smart TV with Wi-Fi coverage on the whole property some with fireplaces for winter - electrical blankets are provided on request. The breakfast area leads out onto a large sun deck with an uninterrupted view of the dam and the surrounding mountains.
There is plenty to see and do around Hartbeespoort Dam such as the famous Lion Park, De Wildt Cheetah Centre and the Elephant Sanctuary. One can also go hiking, quad biking, horse riding, mountain biking or fishing. Kosmos features a mini walking trail by the Waterfront +/- 4km; three art galleries with paintings and artwork from local artists.Â
