Overview

Bamboo, the Guest House Knysna is situated in the enchanting coastal town of Knysna on the Western Cape’s world acclaimed Garden Route. We offer affordable Knysna Accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis to all travelers, be they holidaymakers, business folk, honeymooners, families or tour groups.

Our 14 en suite rooms are individually styled and beautifully decorated with a distinct African touch and separately accessed via elevated timber walkways that meander through our distinctively Tropical Gardens. All have a private deck or terrace from which guests enjoy the prolific bird life including the shy Knysna Loerie!

Our kitchen provides a varied and delicious breakfast menu enjoyed overlooking our Gardens and sumpuous dinners should guests not wish to venture out!

Bamboo the Guesthouse is more than a Guesthouse, its a magical hideaway in a verdant blend of the Orient, the Temperate Zones and our own little piece of the old Knysna forest.

These romantic cottages or apartment-style rooms, are furnished with a king bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. All the units have a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped kitchenette.

Standard Family Room

The Family Room sleeps a maximum of two adults and two children. The room is furnished with a King-size bed, as well as bunk beds or separate single beds for two children under the age of 12. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Superior Family Suite

The Family Room is located at the poolside. The Family Suite consists of two inter-leading en-suite rooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The unit is equipped with a kitchenette and a fireplace.
