Overview
In Suurbraak, on the other side of the river, is the quaint self-catering cottage, “Bibi’s Joy”, belonging to Peter and Bibi Present. Its appeal lies in its solitude and the fact that the mountain is its backyard. This set-up is ideal for the avid outdoors-person, as mountain-biking, hiking, cross-country running, cycling, and even swimming and canoeing depending of the water level of the river, can be practised with ease.
Accommodation comprises two en-suite bedrooms (and a third bathroom that can be accessed from the lounge) with double beds and bedding. There are eight sleeping stretchers, with bedding, available for the kids. The sunny and spacious living room comprises a fully furnished lounge with built in fireplace (as well as a closed combustion fireplace) and kitchen with Dover Stove, fridge and crockery and cutlery. 20 pieces of wood are included in the price (additional wood can be purchased on site), and there is also a gas stove.
