Overview
Blommekloof Country Cottages are 2 delightful self catering cottages. PET FRIENDLY + KID friendly. OLD cottage is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house which has been tastefully renovated, is exceptionally well equipped, and set in a lovely private garden. SUNFLOWER Cottage is the little Gem, 2 bedrooms, open plan lounge, dinging and super kitchen, with a double bathroom. Both Cottages are a MUST for that escape from the madding crowd, yet close enough to all the surrounding cities and towns to make day trips and then escape back to the lull of the countryside, the stargazing and a little fishing.
Sleeping up to 6 (Sunflower) and up to 10 (Old cottage) persons easily, with a cot provided for little ones. Blommekloof is pet and child friendly. All we ask is that when not in the yard the dogs are kept on a leash so as not to chase the chickens, geese or calves. Fishing, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking, fynbos collecting, birdwatching, star-gazing, braaing and enjoying the peace + tranquillity are just some of the daily enjoyments here in this little secret paradise.
Rates are based on per person per night and depends on the length of stay and how many people. The rates include everything - from your fire + braai-wood to dishwashing liquid and black bags, bedding, towels, toiletries etc - all you really need bring is food, drink and personal toiletries......... and dog beds if the 4 legged members of the family are joining you. We don't take 1 night bookings over any peak periods but are always negotiable over other periods.
