Overview

Brenton on Sea is a beautiful and quaint seaside Hamlet which offers resident's and visitor's the pleasure of experiencing nature all around...the sights and sounds of the Indian Ocean with frequent sightings of Dolphins and Whales, an abundance of birdlife, wildlife, such as Bushbuck, roaming freely and rolling hills and mountains that surround us as one pops over The Hill. We are spoilt with a number of walking trails in the Brentons and our stretch of beach goes on for as far as the eye can see. We have lovely viewpoints, picnic spots and 2 restaurants and a deli/coffee shop all within walking or close driving distance. The beauty is that we are near enough to neighbouring towns should one wish for some retail therapy or, enjoy day trips to explore this diverse region which is so aptly known as the Garden Route. Alternatively...stock up on supplies...settle in and enjoy the Brentons for a few days without ever needing to get in your car and go anywhere.

We offer guests comfortable and cosy self catering accommodation in a quiet Cul du Sac.The property is within close walking distance from small secluded beaches and a 5km stretch of beach ideal for long walks that stretch along this pristine coastline. A wonderful destination for the nature lover seeking a relaxed environment to return too after a day on the beach or after exploring the beautiful Garden Route.

The apartment, which comprises of the entire ground level of the 3 level log home, offers a private entrance, a large private terrace and a spacious living environment serving as an ideal base from which to explore our beautiful area or to just laze about.

The bedroom offers a queen bed and en-suite walk-in shower and toilet. (bath towels and bed linen are provided)

The well equipped, open plan kitchen, offers a fridge with freezer, 2 plate stove and small oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, nespresso capsule machine, cutlery & crockery.

Please note that our accommodation is non-smoking but an ashtray is provided for guests whom are more than welcome to smoke on their private patio area which also offers outdoor table and chairs as well as a webber BBQ/Braai.

The spacious living area is open plan to the kitchen and offers a large bar counter and chairs for easy dining.

There are 2 comfortable couches for relaxing, reading, playing boardgames or watching the generous selection of DVD's provided for Guests entertainment. An Easyview DSTV package offering 36 TV channels is available to guest's.

The accommodation is ideal for 2 guests and is not suited too young children.

Birdlife is exceptional & the Knysna Turaco (Knysna Loerie), bushbuck and mongoose frequently visit our property. Pets are not permitted at our guest apartment.

Guests can also enjoy more leisurely walks along Fisherman’s walk on the Brenton Cliffs some 100 meters away from us. Take time to sit on one of the many benches along this walk and enjoy the views that stretch the length of rugged coastline. During the months from June to November the Southern Right whales visit our coastline and can often be spotted from our upper deck or Fisherman's Walk. Dolphin's and Humpback whales as well as Orca's are often spotted throughout the year too.

An allocated parking within the property, offering automated access control, is available for guests at no additional charge.

There are 2 restaurants, a small convenience store as well as a Deli and Coffee Shop which are within walking or close driving distance. This offer's Guest's welcome option's should they prefer to dine out.
