Overview
Boplaas Estate is in the Koue Bokkeveld, near Ceres. The farm was established in 1743 and is home to export fruit and old-fashioned values. It is also where you will find Boplaas Guesthouse, with 4 luxury bedrooms and endless views of its beautiful surroundings.
Boplaas Guesthouse is set on its own private land and guests have access to a beautiful, clear farm dam on hot summer days. The house sleeps a maximum of 8 people in 4 bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a scullery and a lounge and braai-room with a dining area. There is also a lovely deck outside and a double garage
Comfortable, luxury rooms include lovely linen and towels. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning and hairdryers.
Guests are welcome to go biking and hiking on the farm and in the general area. There is also a deck with incredible views and a braai area outside for balmy summer evenings. The historic homestead is also a national monument and is open to visitors by appointment. It is also the home of the famous Afrikaans poet, Boerneef and his work can also be enjoyed on the tour. With a pilot in the family, you can also spoil your loved ones with a flight over the area in one of our light aircraft. Flight reservations must be made a month prior to arrival.
