Nestled in the heart of the enchanting Klein Karoo, just outside the vibrant town of Oudtshoorn, Cango Retreat Ou Tol offers a serene escape surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Only 6km's from the Cango Caves.
Cango Retreat is situated along the banks of the Grobbelaars River, tucked away under massive willow trees offering visitors the ultimate mountain and river retreat. The property consists of 6 Self-Catering houses with patios, outside braais and most units have a jacuzzi/spa bath. A 2.3km hiking trail with 4 natural river pools are located on the property with activities such as kayaking, fly fishing is offered for our in-house guests only. There is also a children's play area for the little ones. In and around activities include the famous Cango Caves only 6km's up the road OR visit Wilgewandel Holiday farm which offers water slides (summertime only) ziplining, camel rides with a restaurant on site. Also don't forget to visit Cango Wildlife Ranch with a variety of animals you can interact like cheetah's, lemurs and wild birds. Should you be brave enough they also have the first crocodile cage diving in the world. Enjoy some spa treatments or game drives at Buffelsdrift where you can also interact with their beautiful elephants. You will surely need more than 2 days to explore the beautiful activities in and around us.

We had a great stay at Cango Retreat. The rolling green lawns, gentle river and rustic feel were exactly what our family needed. The service was great and everyone was very friendly.
