Overview
We are located in the small Bushmanland town of Brandvlei in the Northern Cape, approximately 150km North of Calvinia and 150km South of Kenhardt, along the R27 on route from Cape Town to Upington and Kalahari Gemsbok, Kgalagadi Transfrontier and Augrabies Falls National Parks.
The self-catering facility comprises of 4 bedrooms, ie. Main bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed with an en-suite bathroom & shower, Three other rooms with 1 double bed & 1 single bed each.
The above include use of additional bathroom with separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen with separate dining room and lounge with full DSTV. Soap, toilet paper, fresh bedding & clean towels are provided.
Ample safe & secure parking right next to the main house ensure easy access and peace of mind. A variety of braai areas are available and firewood is supplied. Breakfast can be served upon request. Our Bushmanland-style Camping Ground of half a hectare (also ideal for Bikers) can accommodate up to 4 groups of Campers who have the use of a separate ablution block, incl. shower, bath & toilet.
We are a familiar stop-off point for stargazers, birdwatchers and bushman painting/engraving enthusiasts alike, with sites located at Springbok Oog and Diemantsput both 180km away. The distance to the renowned Verneukpan is a mere 100km from us. Very popular for our evening entertainment is our local group, the Riel Dancers who perform for small donations around large log fires, whilst you braai your local succulent mutton cutlet to perfection over Kameeldoringhout coals in the last few warm rays of the golden sunset.

Where pricing is “per unit” the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison. A search made for Homes and Villas however will always be based on the full daily rate of the unit irrespective of the number of people the unit sleeps.
