Christine's Cosy Cottage is on a bus route. It is ideally situated for those wishing to explore all the sights and attractions the region (Atlantic Seaboard, Capetown and the Winelands) has to offer, including the famous wine routes and the attractions of Capetown and the Waterfront, including a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views. Those just wishing to unwind and enjoy the sun have a wide choice of beautiful beaches on the doorstep. The beach at Hout Bay, Sandy Bay, Camps Bay and Clifton are just a few examples.
Llandudno offers the most spectacular sunsets. Noordhoek is a long beach accessed through the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive-through tunnel, sheer cliff face drive.

Hout Bay is a sociable village with people chatting in cafe's and two main streets with interesting shops. An excellent craft market at the harbour very weekend. There are 3 main supermarkets. The busy harbour is the centre for the tuna and crayfishing fleets with fantastic Restaurants overlooking the harbour and fresh fish emporiums. The beach is long and sandy and safe for swimming and water sports like sea kayaking or dinghy sailing. Guided walks can be arranged in the surrounding mountains or along the long Noordhoek Beach. Out rides with an array of horses set off from the Stables to Sandy Bay (the Nudist Beach) and other out rides. Fishing trips, boat trips to Seal Island and sea sport can be arranged, even Champagne/sunset cruises to Cape Town.

The World of Birds is a bird sanctuary on our doorstep visited by many. The famous Kirstenbosch botanical Gardens, Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve are all within easy driving distances. There is even a Soul Mind Body Gym for those who want to stay fit indoors. The Wine Route is a 45 minute drive away. come enjoy something different!

The Comfortable Cottage offers a double bed in a one bedroomed apartment with a small lounge with a sleeper couch. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and there is a shower/toilet/basin. Comfortable outside entertainment on the patio with a Weber on offer and the use of a pool in a private garden. There is off-street parking and the establishment is safe and secure. A handy breakfast/lunchtime restaurant and deli is close by as well as a Laundromat and the beaches are 5 minutes away by car.
