Overview
Crooked Tree cottage is a lovely Bed and Breakfast/Self Catering Establishment in the heart of Umhlanga Durban, KwaZulu Natal,a premier holiday destination in South Africa! It is a stones throw away from Umhlanga Village with its beautiful beaches. Oceans Mall & Gateway Theatre of Shopping are a 2 min drive away and Durban CBD and ICC are about 15 minutes drive. Umhlanga New Town Centre and the La Lucia Ridge/Ridgeside office parks are on our doorstep. It is close to both the M4 and the N2 highways making access to Durban and the rest of KZN extremely efficient. This makes Crooked Tree an ideal accommodation venue for both Holidaymakers and Business people alike.
The accommodation consists of a 3 room cottage and 3 deluxe suites, all of which are let as B&B or Bed Only accommodation most of the year. They are all, however, ideally suited for those of you who prefer to holiday on a self-catering basis. The cottage can accommodate 6-7 guests and the studio units can accommodate 2 adults per suite.
The Cottage is tastefully decorated and has a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining and lounge area opening onto a sea-facing balcony. There is a deck area with seating at the entrance to the cottage.

Room 4,5,6 - Deluxe suites
The elegantly decorated Deluxe suites are separate from the cottage and each has its own entrance. There are well-equipped kitchens and en suites. The main rooms have a king size bed. 1 of the Deluxe suites has a sleeper couch These units open onto balconies with views over the swimming pool and out to sea.

If this isn’t enough, there is a gorgeous swimming pool where you can cool off or simply lay back and soak up the sun.
Breakfasts on order consist of Full English and and 2 x omelettes. Fruit salad/platters are served with all breakfasts.
When Self Catering the accommodation is booked exclusively for that purpose, so your privacy is ensured.
All December accommodation is offered on a self catering basis only. Please enquire directly for rates applicable.
Rates here do not include breakfast. This can be ordered and paid for at the property.
