Activities include mountain biking, hiking, bird-watching, fishing and sunset game drives. For the wine enthusiasts there are multiple wine cellars in the area for wine tasting with friends.
Dating back to 1831, the Lemoenpoort wine farm has been under the ownership of the Viljoen family for over 190 years. The working farm produces wine, grapes, pears, apples, watermelon, and sweet melon and is proudly Fairtrade accredited. Your hosts, Pieter and Christine Viljoen welcome you to experience the heart and soul of the Lemoenpoort farm in the recently restored manor house, De Goede Hoop Farmstead. Here you can explore the farm to your heart's content, enjoy the house and its amenities at leisure and reconnect to your family and loved ones.
