Guest Comments

This was our 4th stop in Robertson area while touring the country and arguably the best. Basic but very comfortable and away off the beaten track while only 10km from town. Our only challenge was showering with a gas geyser at low pressure.

Our stay at De-Hoop was excellent, I loved the scene, stunning! The place is fantastic as deep sort of jungle country site as it is. The hosts are very friendly. We were received warmly and really enjoyed our few days stay there. One can explore the area and the farm's mountainous and jungle scenery and enjoy the natural beauty of De-Hoop.

It was a short stay but a lovely quiet one! Thanks!

Cottages are small and basic but very clean and service (reception etc) is excellent. Surroundings are awesome. Laid back farm lies at end of a narrow road surrounded by stunning mountains. No cellphone reception, which is oh so good. The silence and peacefulness are almost overwhelming. Bring hiking boots, mountain bikes and books to read. Or just do nothing and enjoy the quietness. This place is food for the soul.

The stay was extremely enjoyable. The cottage was fully equipped with everything one could need and was painfully neat. The service was friendly and efficient
