Overview

Situated on prime land in the Dinokeng free roaming big 5 game reserve, de Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge borders the Pienaars River on the one side and the tar road to Rust de Winter dam on the other.

De Kleine Serengeti offers 10 luxury, self-catering, one bedroom chalets, which are fully furnished and equipped. Braai / Barbecue facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV with MNET Movie and Sport Channels gives De Kleine Serengeti visitor's all they would need.

The Kleine Serengeti also has a family house with 5 comfortable air-conditioned rooms that accommodate a maximum of 2 people per room. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, queen bed and walk in shower with the finest amenities.

What makes De Kleine Serengeti so special is a lovely dam with hundreds of ducks and beyond that a grass plain where game can be seen for most of the day without leaving the comfort of the lodge.

From here you can view Eland, Buffalo, Kudu, Ostrich, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest and many more game and birds species. Game drives are available for those in search of more elusive animals such as leopard, lion and cheetah. Self-drive is also available.

Safari: Game Drives can be arranged in advance. Game Drives take about two hours with snacks and beverages being supplied. Rate: R 400.00 per person with a minimum of four four people.

Situated only 45km north of Pretoria, bordering the N1.

The area is malaria free.

De Kleine Serengeti Family House has 5 comfortable rooms that can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests per room. Each room is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. Each room has air-conditioning, a fan, a heater, bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. This self catering chalet has fully equipped kitchen with a wonderful view towards the dam and its own private patio with braai/barbeque. Unfortunately there are no TV's in these rooms.
