This KwaZulu Natal South Coast self-catering, beachfront house is a modern oasis for the city weary. Our front garden gate opens onto a narrow strip of indigenous vegetation (admiralty) which is all that separates you from the beautiful blue flag Southport beach.
Besides being a very popular KwaZulu Natal South Coast fishing beach, Southport is conveniently situated in close proximity to many delightful restaurants, golf courses, bowling greens and shopping facilities.
Dolphin Place accommodates 16 people in 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It has a central communal area with access to a north and a south wing. Each wing has 3 bedrooms. The main bedrooms have a shower en-suite and the other 2 bedrooms each share a full bathroom. Two rooms in each wing have queen size beds and one room in each wing has two sets of bunk beds.

The top floor of the house’s central unit offers a 55m2 open-plan bar and lounge boasting a 77” flat screen TV, state of the art soundbar & full package DSTV. The beach and sea views from this magnificent room are breathtaking.
The middle floor of this central unit includes the dining area which accommodates 16 and the fully fitted kitchen. There is an under counter washing machine and tumble dryer, stove with gas cooker top and electric oven, microwave and a large fridge with a freezer. Large folding doors open up from the dining area onto a lovely under cover veranda overlooking the beach with stairs leading down to the ground floor and garden area.
The fully fenced garden offers a sparkling pool, braai area and outdoor shower. From here the garden gate opens directly onto the path leading to the beach only a few metres away.
The property has recently been renovated and the furnishings and décor are tasteful. Open plan living at its best!
You will love the “Sundowner spot” with its magical ambiance overlooking the beach. A place to sip your champagne and recharge your batteries!
Bedding, bath towels and beach towels as well as starter pack toiletries & milk, tea and coffee are supplied.
Dolphin Place is pet friendly with secure parking for our guests. The property has state of the art security systems including beams, cameras and alarms. Regret, no loud music or noise as this is a residential area.
Please note that this is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted on the veranda.
For the adventurous, the ever-popular Oribi Gorge beckons some 25 kilometres away, or for the gamblers at heart, the Wild Coast Sun is only 50 km down the nearby highway.
We are situated 7 kilometres from the Port Shepstone Country Club and Golf Course (voted the best golf course on the Coast for 4 consecutive years). Avid golfers also have access to a number of the South Coast's other renowned golf courses, all within easy driving distance: Southbroom, San Lameer, Port Edward, Margate Country Club or the Wild Coast Sun.
