Ehlathini Game Lodge is a beautiful hidden gem pitched high upon a hill southwest of Marken, a small settlement in Limpopo Province. Ehlathini Lodge overlooks the lower-lying Bushveld north of the distant Waterberg Mountains. This is not a rustic venue, it’s a place of quiet sophistication with an appreciation of and for Africa. Here nature surrounds your every move; a place of tranquil relaxation where guests determine their own pace.

Free WIFI is available to all guests at the main lodge, and we also offer laundry services at an additional charge.

The main lodge has three beautiful, en-suite, and individually decorated rooms that open onto the outdoor passageway overlooking the pool, and garden. There are also three individually decorated chalets within a short walking distance of the main lodge, each with a private patio overlooking the Bushveld and water hole. All units will have full access to the fully equipped communal self-catering kitchen.

All our rooms and chalets are en-suite with a shower, bar fridge, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, bath towels, linen, ceiling fan, and warm blankets for the cooler evenings. The communal self-catering kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials and includes 2 gas stove tops, a fridge-freezer plus extra electrical points for travel fridges and freezers, cutlery, and crockery.

The units are booked on a room-only basis, however, additional cooked meals can be booked prior to arrival and then enjoyed in the dining room area.

The patio with tables, chairs, and umbrellas is the perfect place to enjoy meals in comfort. Sit on the terrace for hours and watch the animals at the watering hole, listen to the birds in the garden, and become one with the sound of dribbling water, all while sipping on your favorite hot or cold beverage. We want you to relax, we want you to recharge.
Enjoy a braai in the boma or just relax around the bonfire with great friends under the vast African sky filled with millions of sparkling stars. An honesty bar is available, and the use of alcohol and beverages will be charged to the room. For specific beverage requests please let us know in advance.

Crisp and clear night skies encourage stargazing for hours where you can lose yourself and almost touch the Southern Cross and Orion’s belt. Our promise is that you will leave our home in the bush with special memories and a longing to return.
