Overview
El Yolo One is a working Karoo guest farm situated at the foot of the Swartberg mountain range in the Great Karoo. Our guests are able to come into close contact with a variety of farm animals such as sheep, ducks, geese, peacocks, pigs and goats.
We have tame and wild game such as Eland, Springbok, Kudu and Duiker. Our bird life is extensive. Many wild and endangered wild flowers and flora have been spotted. Guests can do game drives and 4x4 routes for the experienced as well as the inexperienced.
Hiking trails have been created for the more adventurous hiker or those who wish to take a casual walk. Fascinating Bushman rock paintings can be found in three different caves on the farm. Fossil spotting and unpolluted mountain streams and waterfalls are some of the unusual features of the farm.
The farm is approximately 25km to Klaarstroom and approximately 50plus km to De Rust

A three star self catering chalet. Double room with a queen size bed and a single bed sleeper couch, kitchenette, equipped for 5 guests, en suite bath room, braai area, private patio and entrance and a twin room with en suite bath room, private entrance, patio, bar fridge, kettle, coffee, tea and rusks. . Bedding, swimming and bath towels, fire wood and all the activities on the farm included.

Camping sites, each site with own private bathroom under Poplar trees. These sites do have an electrical power point , water and a braai area. Lawn areas. Our Bush camps are camp sites, VERY private in the mountains, no Eskom power. LED lights from your own vehicle battery, private bathroom with flush toilet and hot shower from a wood fired donkey and braai. Our Eland camp is accessible by any 2x4 vehicle with a good ground clearance. The Kudu site, you will need a 4x4 with a low range. No lawn on these mountain sites.

The farm house is a 150 year old house with 3 bathrooms, huge kitchen, living area and 3 double rooms with queen size beds(2 en suite). Two twin rooms with 2 single beds in each. Huge indoor fire place for barbecue . Also available without annex for 8 or less guests at lower price.

EL YOLO OnE guest farm near Klaarstroom, De Rust, Oudtshoorn and Prince Albert. Our 300 m2 wedding Venue can accommodate 80 guests, then there is enough space for a huge dance area.
We can supply the following:
Venue, Tables, Chairs, Chair covers, Cutlery, Crockery, Table cloths, Water and milk jugs, 6 x different types of High quality Crystal wine and cool drink glasses.
In Kitchen we supply gas stove, refrigerators and fridges. Stainless steel working tables and much more.
We can arrange Caterers, Florists, Disc Jockeys, Photographers and what you may need.
