Fordoun Hotel and Spa offers luxury accommodation in Nottingham Road in the scenic KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Our fine dining restaurant, Skye Bistro, uses only the freshest local produce available and is open seven days a week for hotel guests and also visitors in search of excellent cuisine in a tranquil setting. Fordoun Hotel, located in Nottingham Road, the Midlands comprises twenty two luxurious, individually appointed suites with 3 categories of accommodation. The hotel, spa and restaurant now have solar power as well as generators to ensure the lights stay on during your stay with us.

Weddings at Fordoun are a truly special occasion. With the hotel being able to offer superb cuisine, magnificent garden and interior settings for wedding photographs, a comprehensive menu of spa offerings and facilities, and exclusive accommodation in individually appointed rooms, we are able to ensure that your magical event runs like clockwork. We are also the ideal venue for bridal showers and honeymooners.

Fordoun is situated in the green pastures of a successful Nottingham Road dairy farm, which has a history dating back to the 1800s. The original farm buildings have been painstakingly adapted into the atmospheric and gracious Fordoun Spa, Hotel and Restaurant, in a fusing of state-of-the-art leisure and spa facilities with the timeless tranquility of by-gone days.

Fordoun combines the attractions of an award winning up market boutique hotel and spa with a top class conference, wedding and event destination and a superior restaurant. Fordoun caters for resident guests of the hotel as well as day visitors during the week at the Spa. Skye restaurant is open to the guests throughout the week and weekend however booking is essential.

Guests can also enjoy gentle walks around the grounds or ride on mountain bikes along designated routes through the Fordoun estate. Fly-fishing is available on three still waters on Fordoun, or, in season, in the pristine waters of the nearby Bushman’s or Mooi River. Golf is available at the magnificent Bosch Hoek or spectacular Gowrie courses which are both just a few minutes away.
