Situated in Hermanus, the world's foremost land based whale watching destination, Fudge Guest Cottage is a quaint French-style cottage, homely and comfortable, in the heart of Vermont holiday village. Fudge is ideally located easily accessible and only an hour’s drive from Cape Town International Airport.
The cottage has two beautifully decorated bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. The lounge and dining area is ideal for those drizzly days when only a comfortable couch and a good book would do. The attention to detail is exquisite, the breakfasts are creative, and the service is warm and welcoming. The unspoilt surrounds include the Vermont Salt Pan, a flamingo breeding ground teaming with bird life, as well as the nearby Walker Bay Nature Reserve. From your doorstep you can either take a short stroll down to the beach, or endeavour to walk the gorgeous Vermont Trail, stretching from neighbouring Onrus to the sand dunes of Brekvis Bay's undisturbed beaches with the majestic Onrust Mountain as backdrop.
The pristine stretches of beach offer solitude to the walker and boating activities abound in the Kleinriver Lagoon, renowned for its birdlife. Invigorating horse rides along the beach appeal to all ages. The Hermanus Golf Course is well known and curious baboons create a diversion as they silently observe the players.
On offer is 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds . All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, showers and basins. The cottage can be rented out as a whole.
