Hazenjacht Karoo Lifestyle has a few unique and comfortable self-catering farmhouses and units situated on different locations on a working farm on the N12 between Oudtshoorn and De Rust.
These fully equipped houses can accommodate from 2 to 8 people with adequate parking space.
On route to the famous Meiringspoort Waterfall, these units are situated outside Oudtshoorn, each
with different views of the Swartberg Mountains, Outeniqua Mountains and tranquil Karoo surroundings.
Die Melkstal and Oom Manus se Huis are adjacent and ideal for large families or groups.
Oom Manus se Huis can accommodate up to 8 people and is also wheelchair friendly and Die Melkstal can accommodate up to 6 people.
Migeal se Huis is the perfect getaway for a small family with spectacular views and can accommodate 4 people.
Spitzkop, Rooikop and Tonnelkop are cozy 2-bedroom units on the same property, perfect for a weekend getaway and can each accommodate 4 people.
While soaking up the peacefulness of the quiet night life, enjoy the large braai areas with outdoor seating, or enjoy a typical South African meal at any of our restaurants in town.
Oudtshoorn offers a large variety of birds for the avid bird watcher and for the eco-tourist, Vergelen and Oudemuragie gravel roads can be travelled by bicycle or motorcycle.
Enjoy nearby attractions such as the eminent Cango Caves. Feed an elephant at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge or throw down the gauntlet and experience an animal encounter at Cango Wildlife Ranch.
Should you not be the adventurous type, but rather have a disciplined devotion to wine, Karusa Vineyards and Grundheim Winery will definitely have you add a bottle or two to your wine collection.
