Guest Comments

A good place for the young at heart ready to have a good time.

The tented camp was great to stay in and the people were fantastic. We had a good time and would go here again. I would like to see them select their guests and where they are placed a little better, as both of our nights, we had no sleep due to party animals screaming and taking over the pool area and playing loud music on a cellphone in the tent next door. The braai area is too sandy and unmaintained to have a proper braai in, but they were accommodating and allowed us to braai at our tents by moving a braai. Overall, the vibe is good and guys were great. Little thai style pub near the pool and a lot of shade and grass around the tents make it a great rest stop. Dog friendly means we could bring our labrador, which was great, albeit that the resident dogs are barky throughout the day.

Overall, if you want to enjoy a relaxing sleep over in a tented camp, with a pool, braai and restaurant to relax after enjoying the great hikes and drives in the area (Avoid Numbi gate!!) then this is the place.

The reception at HazyBackpackers was non existent. The managers were nowhere to be found upon arrival and they were not helpful once they appeared.

Unfortunately the experience was not great. The organisation was not great & there was no one to welcome the group upon their arrival.
