Overview

A suburban paradise, a lush escape, shaped by our own travel experiences and inspired by our surroundings. Highlands Lodge Guesthouse provides peace, tranquility and privacy.

Highlands Lodge Guesthouse offers two deluxe one-bedroomed units, one deluxe one-bedroomed suite, two deluxe two-bedroomed/family units, and 4 studio apartments, each with their own separate entrance. Guests can select Bed only (all units) | Bed & breakfast (all units) | Self-catering (one deluxe one-bedroomed suite, one family suite, and all studio apartments)

The four studio units are almost hidden amidst our lush garden in a two-level building, 2 rooms on the lower level and 2 rooms on the upper level. These units sleep 2 people only, with a fully equipped kitchenette, and separate bathroom with shower. The rest of our rooms are located on the "upper" section of the property, each opening out onto our beautiful park-like lawn.

All rooms come standard with air conditioning (heat option) and fan, fridge, microwave, and tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with DSTV, and an en-suite bathroom.

Durbanville is in Cape Town's Northern suburbs and has easy access to all areas of the Cape peninsula. The not-so-little village is surrounded by gorgeous wine farms, which offer a variety of activities including wine tasting. Durbanville is located approximately 20km from the airport, and 30km from Cape Town's CBD, Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront, and Blouberg, as well as about 30/40kms from Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Strand, Paarl, Wellington, and Franshhoek.

There is a shopping center only 300 m away from the guesthouse with a supermarket (Spar), liquor store, pharmacy, doctor, coffee shop with kids play area, and a beauty salon for your convenience.

The Lodge offers secure on-site parking and provision has been made for sufficient lighting, and uninterrupted television viewing and wi-fi in the event of an electrical outage (loadshedding).

Our breakfast omelettes and health muffins are the BEST anywhere .... come and judge for yourself!
