Honeyguide Ranger Camp is located in the Entabeni Safari Conservancy, rightfully dubbed “The Place of the Mountain”, and is situated in the World Heritage Waterberg Biosphere. Approximately a 3-hour drive north of Johannesburg, this 22,000-hectare malaria-free reserve boasts five eco-systems. Ranger Camp offers a unique blend of luxury tented safari camp and African Wilderness, perfectly set in different immaculate locations of the reserve. Our camp is child-friendly with kids’ activities including full game drives (over 6 years old) and junior bush walks. The elevated tents are evenly spread apart and surrounded by Waterberg Bushveld for privacy, but don’t be surprised if you catch a glimpse of our resident warthogs scattering through the camp. Each tent contains 220v electricity, an en-suite bathroom with an open-air shower, a portable fan, an in-room safe, a hairdryer, and a private deck. The hide-and-library section of the camp is ideal for relaxing between the guided activities on offer. Take a dip in the pool, sip on a drink from the bar, or relax with a book from the library, all while enjoying the views of the waterhole. The camp is approximately 57 km from the town of Mokopane, formerly known as Potgietersrus, is a town in the Limpopo province of South Africa. There is a wide variety of outdoor activities to experience in the area, from hiking to the more adventurous 4x4 trailing. Other things to do are birding, angling and game viewing. Mokopane also has a good selection of art galleries, antique shops and shopping centres to keep tourists entertained, along with a wide choice of restaurants.
