If you want to get close up to some of Africa’s most treasured wildlife, then you don’t need to step very far from the Hotel Numbi. The world-famous Kruger National Park is just moments away. There you’ll be able to see lions, elephants, rhinos, and giraffes all living side by side with us in their natural habitat.
After an exhilarating day on safari, there's no better place for peace and relaxation than the Hotel Numbi. We are a family run business with over fifty years of experience in the hospitality industry.
We offer a range of accommodation which includes our stunning suites set in our lush sub-tropical Gardens. Each suite has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to give the feeling of a home from home.
We have three swimming pools for you to enjoy, as well as several award-winning restaurants. And, if the Kruger doesn't satisfy your fix for wildlife, there'll be plenty of time for you to get to know the monkeys who've made the grounds of the hotel their home!
We even have our own private airstrip on site for those who wish to arrive by plane. We’re delighted to be able to offer air and helicopter tours. These offer breath-taking views of the surrounding areas of natural beauty, from God’s window to the Sabie Valley.
Our Garden Suites
Our suites offer everything you'd expect from a first class hotel. All of them are fully air-conditioned, have coffee and tea making facilities, satellite TV as well as en-suite bathrooms with free toiletries.
The suites feel like staying in your own little house. They’re built in true South African tradition and each has its own private outdoor area. They’re the perfect places to relax, enjoy a long drink and take in the natural beauty of your surroundings. A vast array of birds perch on the ancient trees and chatter away creating a sense of peace and tranquillity.
We offer larger suites for families. Our double suites have king-sized beds and all are just a short stroll from the main hotel. Each suite has its own parking space.
Our Executive Garden Suites
Why not add a touch of luxury to your trip with one of our three Executive Suites? Enjoy the exhilaration of our outdoor showers, literally transporting you into the rainforest.
All our Executive Suites are set in our gorgeous Gardens. They have a shared lounge and private swimming pool. There is a separate garden with its own seated area around an open fire. One of these suites also has its very own jacuzzi!
Each has two adjoining bedrooms, making them ideal for families or groups who want a bit more space with all the benefits and services of a top-rated hotel.
The Numbi Hotel Rooms
For those who prefer a traditional hotel setting, the Numbi Hotel rooms are a perfect choice. All are en-suite and equipped with Sat TV, tea and coffee making facilities and are fully airconditioned. We also have family rooms and there’s free secure parking for everyone.
Our bar offers exotic cocktails and delicious snacks. The recently renovated reception area provides 24-hour support. The swimming pool is just a short walk away.
Buffet meals are available in the mornings and evenings at the Wild Fig and Pool Deck Restaurant. Start your day with our famous Numbi breakfast. Our wide range of traditional hot and cold dishes mean you’ll be all set for a day of sightseeing and adventure.
This restaurant opens out on to the pool area. A table outside or inside? The choice is yours.
Numbi Caravan Park
Shaded by the trees in spacious grounds, our caravan stands have been carefully set out to give privacy and ample room. Each has its own electrical plug-in outlet, mains water supply, and barbeque area.
Our park is the perfect setting to lie back and watch the stars of an evening with an ice cold beer.
The communal area has bathrooms which are modern, bright and clean. Full and extensive kitchen facilities are also available, along with an ironing area. We're delighted to be able to recommend reliable laundry services which are great value and close by.
