Kruger Cottage is a spacious open-plan house with vaulted thatch ceilings. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and a futon in the living room, the cottage can host up to 8 guests. The layout is ideal for family reunions or other gatherings where people want to gather together and spend time relaxing, preparing meals, and watching the wildlife wander by.
Location, location... Kruger Cottage is a short walk from the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park's southern boundary fence. Enjoy a peek into the KNP from an elevated path along this boundary fence, and watch the animals in the park as they come to drink. The bird watching is fantastic too!
Relax on the covered verandah or in the splash pool, and enjoy seeing the animals at close range as they wander past. Marloth Park is a wildlife conservancy where giraffe, zebra, warthogs, antelope and other animals roam freely through the unfenced Gardens.
The main bedroom has a double bed, and the other two bedrooms each have 2 single beds. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms. The spacious open plan living area leads onto a thatched entertainment area with a cooling splash pool and braai (barbecue) for cooking outdoor meals and sitting around the fire in the evenings.
The house is located between two main entrances to the park (Malelane and Crocodile Bridge Gates).
The cottage is self catering and is fully fitted with a stove, microwave oven, refrigerator/deep freeze and toaster. We have been awarded three stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, assuring you of quality lodging.
All credit cards are accepted when paying through Sleeping-OUT.
Kruger Cottage is the most value for money stay that one can have in the bush! The house is huge and full equipped, aside from a swimming towel and a few essentials one can leave everything else behind and enjoy an amazing self-catred stay! The house was spotless when we arrived and surprisingly cool considering the 40° heat. The pool was essential and we spent most of our time in the pool being visited by zebra, bokkies, warthog and ostriches as well as seeing giraffe. The family of bushbabies living in the lapa were a total delight! The owners were accommodating and everything ran without a hitch!
We will definitely be returning.
