Overview

Touching indigenous Afro-montaine forests on the crest of the majestic Magoebaskloof pass and situated in the grounds of our organic avocado and raspberry farm, rest the self-catering studio style farm guest cottages and the more recent family unit.

Each of the two original cottages comprises two self-contained, fully furnished double (or twin beds) studio style units, each sleeping a max of two guests.

The charming family unit has all the trimmings of the other four units, plus a small separate bedroom with a bunk bed to accommodate two children under the ages of 10.

Each unit comes with its own en-suite bathroom including a heated towel rail. Serviced daily, each unit is tastefully furnished with easy chairs in front of a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped, quality kitchen.

A new addition is a cottage comprising two en suite bedrooms, with queen size beds, with a shared kitchen, dinning and lounge area. It is situated in the avocado and raspberry orchard with a beautiful view of the Wolkberg Mountains.

Although self-catering, guests are provided with provisions for self-prepare breakfast.

With easy access to all the various activities on offer in the area, the Kuhestan Farm Cottages offer an unforgettable experience for all who visit us.

The stay at Kuhestan was wonderful. Everything was clean, well kept and well appointed in the unit. What made the stay exceptional and stand out from others was the setting and the owners at Kuyestan. After a short 3 days you leave there feeling like you have gained friends and been enlightened and spiritually rejuvenated. The best part is that they manage that without ever intruding on your privacy. The gardens, birdlife and hikes in adjacent forests made this a perfect getaway.
