Misty Mountains farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Soutpansberg Mountains of the Limpopo Province. The backdrop of the mountain reaching up behind the house and the picture perfect view over mountains and huge plantations stretching into the distance will take your breath away.
The establishment consists of a Farmhouse, a cottage, a double room and 2 barn rooms.
It is private and home away from home. Our aim is to provide great, clean & safe accommodation at reasonable rates! Please note that we now offer free WIFI to all our guests!
1. Misty Farmhouse has 2 double bedrooms. It has a full kitchen & private tv lounge. The Farmhouse is full self catering.
2.Misty Cottage has a double bed with an extra daybed (for kids or an extra guest). It has also got a lounge/kitchen area and an ensuite bathroom.
3. The Double room has a double bed and an extra daybed.
4. The Barn Rooms are very spacious and has a large verandah where you can relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom with a spacious shower. Desks and seating are provided in each room for the business traveler. The dining room and kitchen is located right next to these rooms and has tea & coffee facilities a fridge and microwave for all the guests.
We now offer a light cereal breakfast option totally free of charge to all our guests available in the dining room.

Great place to stay. The facilities are clean, comfortable and inviting. The people are friendly, competent and helpful. There is a beautiful view from the bedroom as well as the private table and chairs in front of the room. On my last morning, just as I was going to switch on the kettle, there was a knock at my door. When I opened it, one of the staff was standing there with a plunger of coffee and milk, apologizing for the electricity that was out (even though it was obviously not the fault of the establishment) and offering me a cup of coffee. Later she returned with a thermos bottle of hot water in case I would like another cup of coffee or tea. Now that is what I call service!

The directions to Misty Mountains were easy to follow, the situation very peaceful and relaxing, and our overnight stay very pleasant. The staff and owner went out of their way to be helpful, particularly as my wife is disabled. We would certainly stay there again.

The area was wonderful so quiet and peaceful. There were a few shortcomings but that was quickly sorted out. Adri and the staff were so friendly and helpful, we will stay there when in that area.
