Guest Comments

We stayed for 1 night in cottage number 5 during December 2021. The cottage is in a forested area, with resultant challenges brought on by damp and mold. The bedroom ceiling had large growths of mold. Old pieces of foam were found under cushions of the chairs in the lounge area. The kitchen cupboards smelled of mold when opened. The cottage and its furniture needs to be refreshed and cleaned to deal with the damp and mold problem. The grounds/garden area around the cottages are neat and spacious.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was very good and quiet. Facilities are good and clean.
We had a power failure on the second night and the back-up lights worked perfectly. I said its a pity that there is not a gas stove that we could start off the morning with coffee, but as I did the final inspection of the site before switching off the lights I saw the stove under the table. Eish!! what a pity I did not see it earlier.
