No smoking inside the rooms is allowed. All our rooms have outside undercover seating patio/balcony/deck areas where smoking is allowed.
Our Lodge has a communal braai (gas braai only)/social area, located at the pool area, for the exclusive use by our guests only.
Non-residents are not allowed to visit our guests at the Lodge, since limited parking spaces are available. Non-residents taking up the parking spaces of our guests are causing inconvenience to our guests. Right of admission reserved.
Pets are not allowed.
Quiet hours are between 22:00 pm and 7:00 am.
No parties/events and loud noise are allowed between 22:00 pm and 7:00 am.
Please always take our other guests into consideration.
At Check-in, our Lodge requires that one person, per room, per stay, produces a valid identification card or passport to reception for copying purposes.
Please remember to bring your own beach/swimming towels and insect repellent when visiting our Lodge.
No Lodge bathroom towels will be allowed at the Lodge’s pool area and/or to be taken to the beach. However, beach/swimming towels are available at the Lodge’s reception, but since these items are often not returned by some of our guests, the Lodge now requires a R150.00 cash deposit for each towel issued. This deposit is refunded when the towel is returned to reception.
Our Lodge is equipped with a Solar Power/Energy System, which will provide for all the basic essentials like water supply, lights, WI-FI, TV, fans, security etc. during quiet hours (22:00 pm and 07:00 am) when there are power failure/load shedding issues and our 54 KVA silent diesel generator (additional power supply unit) is not allowed to operate. No air conditioners will function during power failure/load shedding periods as our Solar Power/Energy system is not equipped to run these appliances. Our generator was installed for the convenience of our guests and the bit of noise it creates is less inconvenient for our guests than having to be without any electricity and water supply for 2 to 6 hours a day. In this regard, please appreciate the generator and please bear with the bit of noise the generator creates during load shedding times/power outages when our Solar Power/Energy System is not sufficient to run the Lodge.
Since St Lucia is in a World Heritage Site, the town’s Bylaws stipulate that generators are not allowed to operate during quiet hours (22:00 pm to 07:00 am). The Lodge’s generator will as such not be allowed to operate between 22:00 pm and 07:00 am, should power failure/load shedding issues be experienced in town.
Free secure and open parking is available at the Lodge but limited to 1 standard vehicle per room. Please make prior arrangements with our Lodge Manager regarding trailers as we have limited parking spaces available.
