Mountain Rise is a clean and modern 6 roomed unit set in one and a quarter acres of prime real estate overlooking the ocean. With mountains behind and a stunning sea view in front, Victorskloof is the most sought after location in the beautiful Hout Bay. Located close to Cape Town central via the stunning Atlantic Seaboard road past Camps Bay and Clifton, Hout Bay is easily accessible via Constantia Nek to the southern suburbs.

Hout Bay's glorious beach is set between the towering Sentinel on the one side and the world famous Chapman's Peak drive on the other. From Mountain Rise the ocean is framed on both sides by mountains with a view to die for. The cottage has a full length patio to enjoy early morning breakfast or evening sundowners.

The cottage was totally renovated in May 2010 and comprises of 6 rooms including two bedrooms sleeping two and three people respectively. The entire cottage is allocated to each booking. There is a new bathroom with a bath and shower, new modern kitchen with a stove, ceramic hob, stainless steel fridge, freezer. microwave etc., separate dining room and a large lounge leading to the main patio. There is a weber braai available. Security is all new with sliding security gates, burglar proofing, alarm and personal safe. The driveway gate is operated by remote. The owners are in a separate house on the grounds and are available at most times to assist with any queries.

Facilities include a flat screen TV, HiFi, WiFi and high speed 40mb fibre Internet to the property and a free landline for local calls.

From the moment I got there all I could say was Wow! A place I would definitely recommend not only for its outstanding facilities but the friendly host and excellent service. Area where it is situated is safe.

Really nice, comfortable, spacious accommodation in an excellent location in Hout Bay - very close to World of Birds and with distant views to the sea. Very secure with an electric gate and alarm system. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Be aware that the cottage is split level with steps down to the dining room and kitchen if you have anyone be with limited mobility. Lovely pool for hot days and a private garden. Hout Bay has plenty of restaurants, an interesting harbour and white sand beach and is very close to the start of the Chapmans Peak Drive and Kirstenbosch Gardens. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Mountain Rise again.

We had a wonderful stay as usual! The owner Richard is always on hand if there are any questions. The view from the cottage is lovely and we had a very peaceful holiday.
