Overview

In the Herero language, the word “ohange” means “peace”. This is exactly what you can expect to find at Ohange Lodge. Situated in a beautiful mountainous surrounding 30 kilometres north of Otavi en route to Tsumeb, the lodge is the perfect stopover to or from Etosha National Park, but also serves as the perfect destination to relax for a few days in an atmosphere of complete serenity.

Ohange Lodge is the destination for anyone seeking to make the most of the tranquillity for which Namibia is famous. Whether you while away the time watching nature‘s television from the restaurant and patio, or prefer to soak up the sun on the pool terrace with a refreshing drink in hand, Ohange will rejuvenate your soul and tantalize your senses.

Apparently scattered on a leafy Hillside close to the main Ohange building is a pleasantly random group of ten stone-built thatched African style bungalows, well separated for privacy, but still within close reach of the central facilities, and enjoying a direct view of the waterhole and the distant mountains.

NOTE: If a search was made without stipulating the month of occupation the rate shown on the search results page is for the lowest cost month and the least expensive room. Where pricing is “per unit” the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison. A search made for Homes and Villas however will always be based on the full daily rate of the unit irrespective of the number of people the unit sleeps.
