Ou Skool Guest House was initially an old school which was closed down due to lack of funding during the early 70's. Entrepreneurial owner, Ilse-Marie Rossouw identified the property as a great location for an upmarket guest house, conference and events venue, camping site, coffee shop and farm stall for guests and visitors passing by on the R27 or visiting the Keimoes/Upington area.
The guest house offers the warmest hospitality, outstanding air conditioned accommodation, conference facilities for up to 12 delegates including full catering in addition to events facilities for private functions and weddings.
Ou Skool Guest House offers the discerning guest a host of accommodation options from luxurious, spacious B & B rooms, tastefully decorated with en-suite bathrooms to a self catering option where families with young kids can easily be accommodated.
Camping facilites are available with outstanding ablution facilites, electricity and water points for each site which can easily accommodate a caravan or tent on the beautifully lawned grounds surrounded by vineyards.
The Ou Skool Guest House camp site offers the most ideal camping facilities with outstanding ablution facilities, a laundry, electricity and water points for each camp site. Camp sites are spacious enough for large caravans or tents, fully lawned, surrounded by vineyards and situated conveniently close to the main guest house. You need to bring along your own camping gear! (no rooms)
There are wonderful facilities for kids and ample space for children to play safely without disturbing guest house residents or parents wanting to take an afternoon nap.
Should you wish to take advantage of the coffee shop or bar facilities, these are simply a short stroll away from the camp site and is open from 10 am until 8pm

Karin was a super hostess and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. So refreshing to sleep over and be treated as well as we have! Thanks again!
