Panzi Lodge is located in the Greater Kruger Region in the Limpopo Province in South Africa, roughly 500km from Johannesburg. Panzi Lodge is specifically situated within the borders of Guernsey Private Nature Reserve.
Looking for "A Wildlife Experience", Panzi Lodge offer exactly this - we make it our mission for you to return soonest. 'Panzi', which is pronounced paan-zee and means 'down below' or 'on the ground' in Shangaan a local native language. This name was chosen because the camp nestles comfortably in a beautiful wooded gully which is surrounded by magical indigenous trees and bush.
The enchanting 20 bed lodge is hidden in a wooded gully with chalets that are imbued with an intimate spirit of African adventure & wildlife. Wooden pathways meander their way through the indigenous bush outwards from the main boma of the camp to reveal individual thatched units tucked into the greenery of the private nature reserve. These chalets are luxurious and spacious each with its own private deck area, this is where the bush meets some modern sophistication. All chalets are fitted with two big sliding doors opening away from each other giving you a 180 degree bush view at all times. All have a spacious indoor and outdoor shower, the outdoor shower opens onto thick bush with enough privacy and beautiful views supplied with towels and amenities. Bathroom's also have a basin with cabinet and private toilet. All rooms are airconditioned.
