Welcome to Red Mountain Retreat
Situated on the ridge in the back corner of Clarens, the house offers one of the best views in Clarens with direct access into the Clarens Conservancy with various hiking and walking trails.
Start your day by watching the sunrise from the patio or from one of the many sandstone outcrops behind the house. Prefer a lie-in? What about a sunset picnic at the conservancy dam? Or how about just the perfect Clarens selfie on our silver donkey cart?
The house is built in a loft style to take advantage of the all round views and is fully-equipped to sleep 4 people. It is made up of 2 bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom, with shower, basin and toilet. The main bedroom has a kind size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Crisp white percale bed linen and colourful cotton Mungo towels are provided for guests while fluffy blankets and throws allow guests to feel at home.
There is an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with a large free standing convection fireplace for the cold Clarens winters. The house is accessed via an external staircase.
WIFI is provided and a Smart TV for you to login to your favourite streaming services.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and convection oven, a fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, a French press and a stove top kettle to ensure that coffee lovers get their fix.
There is a Gas Webber braai on the patio with an additional table for outside dining.
The garden is fenced and there is a single garage for secure covered parking.
The house boarders on the Clarens Conservancy and you are often greeted by cows grazing around the property.
It is only a 10 minute drive or about a 20 minute walk from the town square.
