We found the owners friendly and helpful. We had ordered dinner ( as the farm is right in the country) and that was excellent. The gardens were lovely and all in all it was a great stop.

Rietpoort Guest Farm has a very rustic feel about it. The rooms were neat and clean. We were grateful for the aircon. The hostess is warm, friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal provided of roast lamb, veggies and crunchy baked potatoes. The malva pudding was warm and buttery and served with custard and was delicious. It tasted like real home cooked South African fare.

A wonderful stop to sleep over between the Highveld and the Cape. Isabel and Derek are gracious hosts and go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. Isabel prepared a delicious home-cooked, traditional meal - which was real value for money. It was great to just chill out on the lawn, under the shady trees and go for a dip in the pool. I can see this becoming a regular pitstop!
