Roodegrond RivierKamp is located on a working citrus and potato farm. To get to the campsite, our guests drive a lovely route through citrus Orchards and potato countries.
This spacious campsite is only 8 km from Patensie towards the Baviaanskloof and we privileged to be located next to the Gamtoos River. Our guests enjoy swimming, kayaking, catching some fish or just relaxing and watching the water lilies and colgusts.
There is a common ablution block with hot showers and flush toilets. Electricity boxes and water is provided as well as braai drums. Braaihout is available at extra cost (pre order only). Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Our guests also enjoy exploring the area on foot or by mountain bike. Camping is good for the pocket, but camping at Roodegrond Rivierkamp is also good for the soul.

A very peaceful and tranquil environment. I really enjoyed my stay at Roodegrond and my husband enjoyed his mountain bike rides. A refuse bin at the ablusions will be nice.
