Overview

Sabie Gypsy’s Backpackers is a quaint little backpackers situated in the town of Sabie, just 2 minutes from Sabie Falls. On the foothills of the Drakensburg, Sabie is surrounded by endless rivers and hidden caves. Directly on The Panorama Route and a 40 min drive to the Kruger National Park.

The accommodation comprises an en-suite room, a family suite with own kitchen and bathroom, 2 Private cabins with twin beds, a double bedroom, and a dorm room with 4 beds that are booked per bed and shared with other guests. The cabins, double room and dorm room all have shared bathroom facilities.

There is a little pond on the property, ideal for picnics where guests can enjoy the views and watch local bird life. The backpackers offers free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped communal kitchen, braai area, entertainment area, guest lounge with a DVD player. Other facilities include a seasonal splash pool, pool table and a fooseball table. Free parking is available to all guests. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Guests can enjoy local tours and hiking trails or visit the nearby Kruger National Park. Activities in and around Sabie include tobogganing, 4x4/ horse trails, golf, cycling/ mountain biking, bungy jumping and so much more. Attractions in the area include Bridal Veil Falls, Mac Mac Falls, and Blyde River Canyon.
