Sedgefield Island Holiday House is a charming Self-Catering Holiday House ideally situated on The Island within walking distance to the famous Wild Oats Market, Sedgefield.

Sedgefield, also known as ‘Africa’s First Slow Town’ is home to various outdoor activities including fishing, paragliding and beach swimming. There are ample variety of restaurants, shops and of course the local farmer’s market which happens every Saturday, literally down the road from Sedgefield Island Holiday House.

This double-storey Garden Route Family & Pet-Friendly Holiday Home offers four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people comfortably. Upstairs are three rooms and separate bathroom; downstairs is the fourth room, en-suite with additional, separate bathroom.

Also downstairs is the open-plan living area with lounge, dining table, bar area and well-equipped kitchen with washing machine. Sliding doors open onto the partially undercover patio with dining table which in turn leads onto the very spacious garden with built-in braai area and private swimming pool, fenced in. There is ample outdoor space for children & pets to run and play.

Additional features include uncapped wifi, full package DStv, air conditioning in the master bedroom and living area, alarm system as well as undercover parking.

Rates valid to 9 December 2026. Peak Season (10 Dec - 10 Jan) Min 5 - 14 nights. Summer Season (11 Jan - 30 Apr; 25 Nov - 9 Dec) Min 2 nights. Easter (3 - 6 April 2026) Min 3 nights. Winter Season (1 May – 31 July) Min 2 nights. Mid Season (1 Aug - 24 Nov) Min 2 nights. - The house has rechargeable lights for loadshedding. - Final rental amount is to be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival, together with additional fees of R 1500 management fee and R 2000 refundable breakages deposit. For international guests only, the breakages deposit to be paid in cash on arrival, if local residents this needs to be prepaid via EFT. - R 250 in cash upon check-in for late check-in fee if arriving after 18h00. - A maximum of 8 people sharing in 4 bedrooms – Main room with Double bed, all other rooms with Twin beds. Please do not exceed this number on any given night. Please bring your own baby camp cot and high chair with. - Do take care of small children at this house as there are no safety barriers on the stairs or railings. The pool does have a fence around it. - Linen and bath towels are provided – please do not use bath towels as beach/swimming towels. Bring your own beach/swimming towels with please. - Pets are allowed on the property upon prior request only, subject to owner confirmation. Pet policy applies. - No smoking indoors, please discard of cigarettes in astray provided and not on the patio, gardens or down toilets. - Unruly and/or noisy behavior will result in an eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbors, thank-you! No loud music or noise after 22h00 please. - A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation or if check-out happens later than the specified time. - The house has septic tanks, only human waste and toilet paper down toilets please and use septic tank friendly cleaning materials. - Housekeeping service is not included - it is optional extra. Please advise us well in advance if you require this service as it is outsourced and subject to availability at time of enquiry. - This accommodation is fully self-catering. Kindly provide your personal consumables. Pet Policy applies: - No dogs are allowed on beds or furniture - A surcharge will be charged should we note dogs on beds/furniture to cover costs of cleaning, or if dogs messed in the house and we need to clean carpets etc. after departure - Please keep an eye on your dogs at all times. The house has an enclosed garden with fencing.
