Welcome to Silver Tides
Silver Tides offers Self Catering accommodation for the holiday maker or visiting business executive. Enjoy warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation; we are ideally situated 150m from the beach.
We have six stylishly decorated Self Catering Units. Each of our units are equipped with Wi-Fi internet access.
We have two spacious upper level studio apartments with Sea Views which sleeps 3 guests comfortably; each unit consists of a Queen bed and a single sleeper. Both units have fully equipped kitchens with granite tops, the units have separate bathrooms.
Two of our ground floor units have garden views, which sleep four guests each, one unit has two Queen Beds and the other unit has One Queen Bed and two Single Beds. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen with granite tops; the units have two bathrooms, the main bedroom being an en suite.
There is also a separate cottage which also has garden views which sleeps two guests comfortably; the cottage has one double Bed with an en suite bathroom, there is also a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area.
All the above units are cleaned daily except on weekends and public holidays at no additional cost
Our Beach House is a modern spacious Semi Detached Duplex which consists of 4 Bedrooms with 4 queen size beds, 3 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and one bedroom has a separate bathroom. It comes with a fully fitted open plan lounge, dinning area and kitchen with modern conveniences, fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, toaster etc., and satellite TV (Hotel Package), Linen Supplied (Please bring your own Beach Towels), private BBQ area and Parking behind locked gates for 2 vehicles. Please note that there are no services on Sundays and public holidays.
Early Check ins are possible if arranged in advance. Should you be arriving after 6 pm please call us on our mobile number half an hour before arrival. Late check outs are possible if your room has not been booked for that evening.
We are 18 km from Ushaka Marine World, 14 km from the ICC and 47 km from King Shaka International Airport.

• 20min drive to Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve, where you will see Zebra, Impala and a wide variety of bird species, great for bird watchers, nature enthusiasts and the reserve also has walking trails and an adventurous mountain bike track.
• Shops, takeaways and good restaurants are nearby.
• 1km from 18 hole Golf Course.
• Crayfish Season Mar – Nov.
• Sardine season – June
• Dolphin viewing all year round.
• Excellent Surfing, Cave Rock is rated one of the world’s best surf spots
• Other water sports include Kite boarding, diving and sea kayaking.
• Great Fishing spots can be found all along the coastline which stretches some 10km.
• 3 hours’ drive from Big Five Game Reserves and the Drakensburg Mountains.
