We have 4 self-catering cottages available for rental, rustic camping in a 'park-home style' cabin and a 5 bedroom house available for renting. Reasonably priced, clean, quaint and well appointed, our cottages are popular and we have many regular visitors. Especially nice for nature-lovers and young families, who want to experience a true farm lifestyle.
The Tasting Room Restaurant, situated in a unique, quaintly restored labourer's cottage, is open everyday from 08h00 to 17h00. Select your meal from the chalkboard menu or create your own picnic basket from our Mezze Menu, and relax and enjoy the views over the dame, while sampling a bottle or two of our award-winning range of wines. Booking is essential.
Have a relaxing 2km walk through vineyards and flower fields, or a more challenging 5km hike. Enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna while admiring the views over Stanford village and enjoy your walk.
If you are a keen birdwatcher, don’t forget your binoculars. Of the 68 endemic bird species
in South Africa, 30 occur within close proximity of Stanford. Should you care to have a go at catching some bass in the dam, please bring own fishing tackle. (Catch and release)
Horse riding available on the farm, half hour or full hour rides suitable for beginners as well as more experienced riders.

Wonderful property in immaculate condition. Two areas that can be improved: the interleading door is not great, you can hear your neighbours talking normally in the next door cottage. Second is the gas geyser / water heater, it doesn't work as intended, water is hot/cold/hot/cold, and then just stops being hot, so we couldn't really make use of the shower or bath.
